About Us

The Kentucky Forge Council (KFC) is a community organization of blacksmiths and enthusiasts founded in 2016. As part of the Appalachian Area Chapter of Blacksmiths, the Kentucky Forge Council is dedicated to the preservation of the craft of blacksmithing in Southcentral Kentucky through community events and hands-on education.
