The Kentucky Forge Council (KFC) is a community organization of blacksmiths and enthusiasts founded in 2016. As part of the Appalachian Area Chapter of Blacksmiths, the Kentucky Forge Council is dedicated to the preservation of the craft of blacksmithing in Southcentral Kentucky through community events and hands-on education.
Monthly meetings and open forge sessions are held on the first Saturday of every month at the WKU farm in Bowling Green. Meetings are open to the public. Check our Facebook for any meeting date, location or time changes.

KFC is located on the WKU farm at 1188 Bennett Ln., Bowling Green, KY 42104.
If you plan to forge, please wear appropriate clothing including long pants and closed toe shoes. Safety glasses, gloves, and forging equipment are provided.
